My Wife bought a Glock 19 plans do do most of her range work with it, we realize it may take a few tries to find a holster she likes and finds comfortable. Any girls out there that may care to comment? She does not have a gun belt yet either. All input is appreciated.

Thank You

I'm very happy with both the crossbreed supertuck and the little Foxx by Foxx holsters. With the exception of bra and thigh holsters, I've found the ones marketed to men do the job for me too. Women's choices are limited for a ladies specific holster.

Edited to add - I'm sorry it just clicked you're looking for something for the range so IWB may not be what you're looking for...

Thanks Lish, true we are looking for range now but I will tell Tracey to check out your suggestions for possible future carry.

Thanks Again.

+1 on the Blade Tech. It's a good holster to learn on.

Thank you for the responses, at this this point everything is for
range use, but I figure she may as well plan ahead for future carry.
What would you recommend belt wise in this case Mrs HB?

Thanks Again

Check out the CR Speed belts, or similar models: CR Speed

A Glock 19 (or any double-stack gun) would be pretty challenging to conceal on-body for most women... so you're probably wise to invest in range gear only for now. Then, if she decides she needs a smaller gun for carrying (which is likely) - you can buy concealed carry gear to fit the smaller gun. At that point, a good leather gun belt and OWB holster can do double-duty for the range and for carry.

The Glock 19 is definitely a great choice for range use and home defense, so it ought to see plenty of use even if it's not the one she ultimately chooses to carry.

Happy shooting!
