A background check by any means is still a background check. That would mean one requires a background check just to get a DL. Not likely.

I never heard of this idea.I have an idea. How about a background check that you can put on your drivers license that allows you to buy a gun anytime you want to. No one has to know if you own a gun or what kind or how many. I would be ok with that. And for those who think the proposed gun control is NOT an infringement on the second amendment, just apply it the the first amendment and see if you still think it is reasonable.

Since we already have background checks when we buy from an FFL dealer,why not just leave it as it is?
Personally, I do not want anymore ideas on gun control.
Heck, you don't have to even be in the USA legally to get a Driver's License in a lot of places now.A background check by any means is still a background check. That would mean one requires a background check just to get a DL. Not likely.
