Can anybody confirm if this is normal internal wear for a Gen 4 Glock 23? It would appear that the RSA is scraping the receiver while it is being compressed and/or disassembly. This is a non issue on previous generations and I believe it may be attributed to a larger spring. Also, is the frame battering normal? Would anybody expect this to continue? I am at approximately 1000 rounds...no hot loads or reloads.

I do not have a G23, but I checked my gen4 G19 and 26, and they do not show this kind of wear yet. I have about 600 rds through the 26 and a bit over 1000 rds through the 19. I can see a faint mark on my 19 where it looks like the spring has touched, but not nearly as much scuffing as you are seeing.

I would look at your spring closely to see if something is wrong with it. Maybe bent or cracked?
