Arlington National Cemetery - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I just spent several hours reading about some of the people buried at Arlington. They are listed at the bottom of the Wikipedia page.

Of the people listed:

A Brit.
A German WWII soldier.
Many Canadians.
Many more Confederates.
The most decorated American soldier ever, but he never got the recognition he deserved because he fought in an unpopular war.

I had no idea.

I challenge you all to check it out, but be sure to set aside the time and maybe have a box of tissues nearby. Some of the stories and pictures...
