Read when you posted the link over at SigTalk--a fine review--anyone interested in this rifle should take a look at this review. I purchased the MCX a few weeks ago--great rifle--but I'll leave the writing skills to John.

Thanks Bob - you're too kind!
Good review and timely for me since I'm currently debating between the MCX and Tavor X95.

Can't take anything away from the Tavor - it's a heckuva rifle. But if you have any investment in the AR-15 platform in terms of training time, you might well be better off with the MCX.
Great review. I've been eyeing one of those for awhile.
Nice write-up. Another gun for my wish list...

The Tavor X-95 has the mag release in AR-15 position. Your review seems to only aknowledge the original SAR.

To Candor : Also the Tavor(s) are about 10" shorter than the MCX if close quarters is your thing. So that's about 10" shorter than the MCX with the same size barrel as the MCX. (The Tavor's barrel is 16.5")
