 another tasty tidbit for ya'll
The Thompson is a 1928 Savage.and the MP5A3SD is a Flemming Registered Reciever gun.. I bought the Thompson in 1979 for the unheard-of price of $850.00 The H&K was bought in 1985 for $1500.00. I know these are huge money now.....beats gold by far LOL

CLASS3NH ~ Boo Hoo

Now...I want a Tommy Gun!
I think I told you how I actually passed one of those up.
I was offered a nice minty blue Thompson SMG.
Boy, was that dumb huh? :duh:
Way back then...I said...Why do I want something that heavy that just shoots a .45 acp caliber bullet  (not really thinking about HOW MANY .45 bullets it cranks out!) ~ & then there would have been the transfer tax...& that would have put the total over ahhhh "One Grand" & I said..."Nah...I'll pass."
I sure wish that I could travel back in time!

Awe shucks CLASS3 - now we are into Uzi's. Damn you and treble damn you!!

I am 60 - and would have had to buy up gear like this age 30 - then i might have had a chance. Oh well - I will (still drooling) bask in the glory of someone else's gear!!

Belt-feds. Oh no - anything but belt fed's ... <ducks for cover and a new Kleenex>

I just may have to make a trip to MA one day!

Biggest disincentive however (and I mean this) is the carry aspect! It is absurd that I have to think on this if going out of state. Heck - I want to go to Niagara with wife - on bike even but - darned if I will forego my right of carry once out of state. Sad.

Wife knows better these days than to suggest a trip to MD!!! Let alone NY or - dare I say the words .... NJ!!!
