So what do you do when you are setting up a new CCW rig? I have had my new SA Champ for a couple weeks and I'm starting the process I use to carry this gun.
This weekend I purchased a holster I like. It may not be the only holster for this gun, but it is a good start. Picked up several different types of ammo for it to see what it likes and more importantly what it may not like. Going to shoot a minimum of 500 rounds through it before it is carried outside the homestead. I'll also carry it around the house and property to identify any issues with how I carry it, etc. After a month or more it may be allowed out of the house as my primary carry gun. Depending on how its training goes.
So am I missing something major? What else do you do, or I am over the top?:hand44:
