Oh gee "No Guns" signs do not work. This is still a developing story but this is one of malls Grassroots North Carolina and many gun owners asked to remove the GFZ signs but the mall claimed the signs were for the safety of the patrons. Luckily no one was injured by the shooting but in the resulting panic several were injured.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Reports of gunshots inside a busy North Carolina mall caused chaos Saturday as shoppers ran screaming for the doors or sheltered in stores as dozens of officers converged arrived on the scene, witnesses said.
Raleigh police said they responded to reports that shots were fired inside Crabtree Valley Mall around 2:30 p.m. The mall in an affluent area of Raleigh was then put on lockdown. Helicopters buzzed overhead as numerous law enforcement vehicles swarmed the shopping area.

RALEIGH (WTVD) --
Police said they are still investigating after Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh was placed on lockdown Saturday afternoon. Police responded to reports of a shooting around 2:30 p.m.
Officials held a press conference just before 6 p.m. and said they had not determined if there was a shooter, and no one was in custody.
Authorities said they were working to get people back to their cars.
Federal authorities and ATF officials are helping in the investigation. Our crew at the scene said police announced to the crowd shortly after 4:30 p.m. that no one had been shot in the mall.
