The 640 is a good revolver. I don\'t shoot it as well as I do with some of my other handguns, but this one is fine for up close and personal work. The snagless profile and small size make it a great carry gun.
I used to own a Taurus 617 (7 shot .357) and that was a great gun. It was the revolver I shot most accurately, believe it or not. I traded it long ago and miss it.
Kahrman, just you wait until I get all the bells n'whistles attached to my evil black Bushmaster and post pics of that. Self-Christmas is good.
I have the Bushmaster modular carbine (25th Anniversary Limited Edition with pimped-out nickeled accents) and I\'ll be adding an EOTech model 512 holosight and a Surefire M95 with 6\" tape pressure switch. I\'ll be ready for any attack from hordes of ninjas rappeling from rooftops.
A local gun shop had a Trijicon ACOG TA01NSN and I checked that out, along with one of the Aimpoints. I want a fast aquisition sight that will still work with my irons up, and the EOTechs work perfectly for me. That particular model ACOG\'s reticle was too fine for me, the tritium wasn\'t that fantastic in low-light, but the backup tritium iron sights on top were nifty.
I didn\'t examine the Aimpoint much; I already decided to go with what I knew to work for me. I don\'t like looking down a tube, and the ACOG is not suited for my purposes.

The EOtechs are nice and give you that \"heads up\" approach rather than the \"looking thru the tube\" Aimpoint. While the Aimpoint does seem more sturdy for combat situations, the EOtech with its metal shield will be perfect for the armchair commando\'s and also serves well over in the sandbox.
