Hey guys!! I'm thinking of getting an AIWB holster soon. I carry a G19 and I just bought a Streamlight TLR4 that I may or may not carry on the gun. I am trying to decide if I want to buy a TREX Sidecar (light bearing) or a Raven Concealment Eidolon (reviews are great and looks super comfy. I'm 5'11" 150, so I don't think much will be uncomfortable. Has anybody used both holsters and liked/disliked anything about them? I like that the sidecar has the option for an extra mag, I'd be spending around $150 for the light compatible one or $100 for the Eidolon. Y'all have at it. That's all I've got!

Thanks

My next holster will be the Eidolon. I've heard a lot of great things about it. I'm waiting for one to pop up in the classifieds on the forums I frequent.

Eidolon or JM Custom Kydex. I went with JMCK as the eidolon is not available for my gun. However JMCK is now making a holster very similar to the Eidolon. I currently use the George from him with a wedge and love it.

Don't get the sidecar. Just my opinion but I have owned one as well as some of the other top appendix holsters (jmck & ccc)

The sidecar is an Instagram holster. It's made its fame on there. It stands out like a brick. Even trexarms most recent post on it admits it prints.

That holster offers no advantages over jm custom, ccc, dsg, or keepers holsters. These brands have built their reputation by guys who wear their holsters and not through social media marketing.

That holster is made for a very specific body type. How many legit instructors are wearing a sidecar every day?

Just get a magazine carrier separate that allows you to place it where it best fits on YOUR body.

I'd honestly consider jm custom and their George model.
