Hello. I've owned several SIG-Sauer handguns and in general have found all to be both reliable and accurate. Yet, for me, they didn't have the appeal or that certain something I cannot define to be favorites. Of all the ones I've owned, I've kept two, both single-stacks. One is their P220 and the P225.

I've owned four or five of these over the years, but kept only one. All have run 100% reliably for me and all grouped very well.

If interested, here are some observations:

Best.

I may be the only person alive who prefers the 239 to the 225.

There's just something about the 220/225 that don't do much for me - the magic of Sig for me starts with the 226.

Ive got a 220,225,239 and 226.

I LOVE the 225. I carry it alot. I like it better than the .40 239 because I have big hands and the grip is longer. It just feels better.

Personally, I think that the 225 is one of the best feeling guns out there and it is extremely accurate.

I carried a 226 (duty gun) for years and prefer the 225 myself. I am not a huge Sig fan, but need to add another one to the collection. If I was not overrun with 45's it would be the 220 instead of the 225. Hell, if I could find a nice Walther P5 I would scope on of those babies up too.
