No help here, I have a Beretta with four 14rd mags, bought two extra a year or so before the ban went into effect. Lord knows I know the inside of a 1911 mag here lately. Without seeing a low capper though, I'd suspect if you can get inside, you'd probably find an extended follower....I say that because if they just put a plug in the bottom, it could be too easily removed and probably wouldn't have passed "QA". If in fact it is a larger follower, you could probably get a machine shop to craft you a smaller (shorter) one, but frankly the cost would not be worth it. I haven't looked at the gun shows for any since I don't have another gun that can use them, but you might try shopping at a show. :redface:
