They did that twice in Louisville this year. The gun stores are starting to install giant concrete flower pots, those yellow metal safety polls, etc. It's a messed up deal all the way around, Joe Citizen pays the cost twice. Once when we pay for the new safety measures via increased prices and again when schmuck thief turns into schmuck burgler or robber.

The break-in woke up an employee who was staying at the pawn shop overnight, police said.

Too bad he didn't have one of those rifles handy.

North East Ohio has had a few. A shop I used to work at was hit last week. Sledgehammer to the front door. In and out before Cops showed up. They got 7 Rifles. In this case it could have been avoided with better security methods but the owner is kind of lax in that area.

Another one of these gun store smash and grab burglaries in the Denver metro area. News report says police responded within 2 minutes but the BGs were already gone.
