Does anyone have the Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops auto blade? I have a Benchmade that I love and can't believe the Smith & Wesson could be anywhere near the quality for $45.

I have had many S&W blades. They don't hold an edge and are too brittle to be a good working type knife. If you want something to cut and poke then they get the job done.

They aren't up to the Benchmade quality for sure, I bought one 2 or 3 years ago and don't even carry it anymore, it's used for bedside cutting tasks now. There are much better quality knives, and this is coming from someone who owns 3 S&W's

They are made in Asia, out of inferior steel.

Haha I really didn't think while I was posting that, I use it for opening packages and the like when I'm in my bedroom and away from my other knives.
