What do you use for your speedloader holsters? I have a Speed Six and am going to try my hand at competing and am looking for your ideas on the different types of speedloader holsterrs. Thanks

They are hard to find but I will give you some options:

To not look "gunny" I use a Lowe Pro Digital Camera Case and stack two speedloaders. I find the HKS brand of Speedloader works best for this.

I threw the shoulder strap away a long time ago. Go to a store with a good selection of camera bags/accessories and start trying out speedloaders in them. Mine has a belt slot and holds two speedloaders comfortably on my belt.

Check out the Desantis Second Six speed loader holder. It splits the speed loader over the belt to keep the profile down to a minimum...

It wasn't specified that these were for "competition", or if it was I missed it due to being overworked and tired.

I looked at it as, wanting to carry a reload or two while carrying a revolver concealed. Have a nice day. Oh, and by the way, there ain't nothing "normal" about an armed encounter.

They also have some metal clip ones (http://www.safariland.com/DutyGear/product.aspx?pid=CD-2 & http://www.safariland.com/DutyGear/product.aspx?pid=CD-6), which you might be able to use for competition and for CCing if you wanted. I have two of the CD-2s for my revolvers.

Yeah, you missed it. He said he wanted to try his hand at competition. I have never shot in competition, but I had just read the IDPA rules on holsters and speed loader carriers the prior day and didn't think Lowes would be allowed.

By normal use, I meant not in competition.

I have one of these for my K-frame speedloaders, works very well for CC, not sure it would be good for competition.
