I have been hesitant to reply to this as what I'm going to offer is pure opinion on my part, so here goes. Let me add I do not own any Spikes equipment. I do not have a lot of experience with the upper end Spikes rifles. Most of what I have seen has been with built lowers or Spikes complete uppers. From what I have experienced their upper end stuff is good stuff. They do have some pretty cool looking roll marks on their lowers and their accuracy has been average. Reliability seems great. They are an American made rifle and do offer a lifetime warranty...I think.
IMO, I think you would be as well or better off buying a Daniel Defense, LMT, or LWRC. You could also give the Geissele Super Duty a look as well. With the way AR's are selling right now expect to pay a premium on just about anything you buy.
