I've been looking really hard at a Springfield 1911 TRP, the one with the accessory rail on it so I can mount a light. I would use this as a home defense weapon. I was just wondering if anyone here has one and if so if you could post a pic of yours and tell me what it cost you that would be great.
Thanks to all

Here are some pics, none are mine. Just wanted to give you a taste.

Don't discount the Warrior either.

My only issue would be this; I think you would have a real tough time finding a good holster for it, i.e. Brommeland, Sparks, Del Fatti, etc...

" The Glock is a pistol for someone who must carry a sidearm, the 1911 is for someone who likes to"

Carried the TRP Operator with my last agency, that had been tuned by the folks at Nowlin Gun Company in Claremore. It was heavy and a dream to shoot. If I had to choose today, I would go with the Kimber Warrior or a Para NightTac. Unfortunatly I'm stuck with a Sig and can only dream of my 1911 days.
