That is the noise of the ammo gougers / resellers choking on the stuff . I've seen more ammo today and still there on gunbot today in 9mm than ever . That is good news ! I've seen some types there all day :) things that use to be gone in seconds

So hang in there shooters relief appears to be in sight, unless you live in California, New York etc .....

Cheers

Absolutely. I saw more today than I've seen in a long time and at reasonable prices.

As we were on our way out of town for Memorial Day Weekend my family of five stopped at WW at 615am to get some snacks for the road. My son & I ventured back to the sporting goods area to get an air mattress and some fishing line & I couldn’t believe my eyes?

There were about 23 people drooling all over the floor as they gazed into the ammo cabinet. There were 100-round boxes of 9mm, 45acp, 223, & .380acp! Also there were some 50-round boxes of 357mag, & .38special, and some 325-round boxes of .22LR that came in that night.

My son said: “Dad can we wait in line too so we can go shooting again?”

I looked in the case asked around what the other people were going to be getting & there wasn’t enough of what we could use to go around, so I said: “Sorry son . . . there wouldn’t be any left for us because there are too many people waiting ahead of us.” I though he was going to cry because I was about too myself.

I’ve heard of these people that show up at WW at 6am to wait for the register to open at 7am but I too didn’t believe it until I saw it for myself!

Is this what it has all comedown too? If you want to get some ammo at ah reasonable price you have to be in line at WW by 6am :1conf03: :icon_mecker:

Here it's the same thing .....just like what you said . Only over a dozen Walmarts here with 2 Million people . Sorry about your son . Sad just sad really, but by the looks of things on gunbot today it's going to get better with some state exceptions .

They bring lawn chairs here just waiting all hours of the day and night !

It would be great for ammo makers to suddenly fill the shelves with as much ammo as ever, end panic buying, send prices falling down.

I hope so, but I don't look for this to be back to "normal" for a long time. At my local Dicks, the gun counter guy said they sold out of .22lr in 6 minutes yesterday (they have a 1 bulk pack or 2 regular box limit per person per day).

Last week I bought a 100 round box (WWB) of 9 mm for $24.00 and a 50 round box of Federal (FMJ) for $20.00. Unfortunately, they had a 3 box limit and there was only one box of 9 mm in stock. Still, better than its been.

Hopefully this is a sign that things are getting better. it will be nice to see companies like Underwood get ammo back in stock. I really want to try some of their 9mm ammo but have never seen any in stock. It will also be nice to order a little 9mm and 10mm at the same time from the same place to save a little money on shipping. I am also looking forward to be able to go to the LGS and have them ask me how many boxes I would like and not here is your one box sir.
