Storm on the horizon

No matter who "wins" in November, we all lose. It's everyone's collective fault that we have our two existing choices for president (don't kid yourself if you think we have 4 choices). Years of apathy and ignorance have finally caught up with us, so much so that America's decline is far more tangible than I'd ever imagined possible.

Regardless, whoever wins, there's one singular, important issue that must bind us all- defense of the Second Amendment. The 2nd is the first and last line of our defense- the line of demarcation between citizen and subject. It's no longer tin foil hat territory; this is where we are. The two main parties represent stark yet similar paths to subservience, and we can't expect individual elected officials to make one damn bit of difference if we don't demand it of them.

I have no problem predicting a revolution, nor do I fear it. Preparation is the key, yet no matter what we prepare for, it won't erase what a few decades of degradation have produced. Rather than get angry however, I move forward. I'm a part of the future 1%- gun owners who have more than a few guns, and know how to use each of them with proficiency-and willingness- in defense of my own. I procure the ammunition for each too, exponentially, and I encourage all responsible gun owners to do the same.

The tree of liberty is drying up.

As difficult as it may prove to be, please stay forum focused (Firearm Rights/Second Amendment)
Not easy to do with a Presidential election in our respective near futures but, try hard. :yup:
No candidate or political party bashing just for the heckovit.

Rather a dire prediction that I can find little fault with . We will help make history or become part of history .

Our collective rights, including the 2nd dried up a long time ago. We have continually allowed our rights (all of them) to subjugated by government for decades. The second will fall under one of the two candidates through SCOTUS picks alone. We live on the brink of losing many our rights continually. We have moved into a true mob rule culture. It is a remarkably sad state of affairs, regardless of which side of the aisle you sit.

I honestly fear and regret the country we are leaving for our children.

The odds makers are rarely wrong. It is difficult to stomach what will most likely happen in 2017 but we should prepare for the worst case.

Democrats will try to impose more gun control than anything that has been mentioned to date. If they introduce a deluge of proposed changes, expect the other party to cave in. We are dealing with politicians. They care only about protecting themselves, not you.

There are a number of givens. Universal background checks, closing down gun shows and holding manufacturers liable. We will probably also see more proposed bans on AR/AK firearms, magazine capacity limitations along with ammunition restrictions.

HRC will use executive orders to impose restrictions where lawmakers fail. We may also see a shift in the senate.

Worse yet is that a 9th Supreme Court Justice will be appointed. Expect a liberal majority. Not only that but more states may also go blue so there will be less resistance in those states. Then, you might see more midnight legislation like the so called "Safe Act" passed in NY.

What to do?

1. Have at least 1 bolt action rifle.
2. Own at least 1 pump shot gun
3. Stock up on 10 round magazines
4. Stock up on ammunition in several calibers. You won't know what will be in short supply. What you can't use, someone else might need.
5. Own at least 1 reliable revolver

President Donald J. Trump has a CHL and carries where legal and promises to protect 2A.

I am voting for Trump the Pro 2A candidate.

If the other side gets in what makes you think they will stop until they outlaw all private gun ownership for law abiding citizens????????

When it comes to a presidential fiat or Supreme Court redefining of "the people" demand to turn in my firearms, the words, "Will not comply," come to mind.

G-d help us all.

To call Trump anything less than PRO 2A just means you haven't been paying attention. There is a clear division between both candidates. If you undermine Trump you are helping HRC , pretty simple. Nobody likes the choices so suck it up buttercup! There are only two choices as it always is. I got a buddy with the same mindset, he believes he'll not vote and SHOW them. It accomplishes nothing but helping HRC. Revolution, no way imho. I say vote however you please, but don't blow smoke up my SIX!

It's been a while since I have visited on here but I felt the need today and I realize that many are dealing with the same thoughts and issues that I am currently dealing with.

Positives: A lot of normal people are still against Hillary and backing Trump. She (Hillary) must be stopped is the common mantra.

Negatives: Even in Alabama we have politicians (even the adulterous governor) pulling their support for Trump. Not that I would ever care what a career politician or Hollywood actor has to say but it is troubling that in a solid Red state like Bama, our politicians think that this won't hurt them.

Times are changing and it feels like they just hit warp speed.

Did I mention that Elisabeth Warren, Socialist and Obama's preferred successor (Biden aside) over HRC lives in a 2.5 million dollar house? She couldn't run with that amount of baggage but it goes to show you that establishment politicians only care about protecting their own skins.

The establishment republicans that bailed on Trump never had his support from the start and are no different than establishment democrats. Politicians, biased media and Hollywood hypocrites are the real basket of deplorables.

The establishment is scared to death of Trump because he is not bought and paid for by lobbyists. As they all are. There afraid he'll stop the gravy train imo. All the more reason to support Trump. You'd think the leftist unions would support Trump. Why? At least he'll bring jobs back for them, HRC will continue NAFTA outsourcing that her hubby passed. I'm sick of political correctness, its been used to dismantle America. The Progressives/liberals are in BOTH party's. Trump has made them identify themselves as the traitors they are. Trump isn't perfect, but he has the foundation we need in a candidate imo. The main stream media, including FOX is putting out so much propaganda its disgusting. The left would love to see anti Trump BS on gun forums. But this is what we get with all the fear mongering. People don't know what to believe.I think Trump is our last chance at peaceful "revolution". HRC would finish the demolition of America. First one would be our sovereignty with open borders globalist agenda. Flooding our country with those loyal to her party, diluting the power of our vote. If she wins God knows what other freedoms we'll lose, but I doubt it'd just be 2A

Here I added one more;

CNN would like to see the election called right now. They don't have much to lose. They're going down the tube anyway so ratings don't count as much.

MSNBS are all commies so not worth discussing or tuning in to, ever.

Of all, Fox News is the only channel that doesn't raise my BP too much but they can't be trusted for fair and honest reporting much either.

Filter the paid BS opinion "strategists" out all together. Most won't have a job a month from now.

I don't own any high capacity firearms and there is a temptation to pick up a 9mm with a large mag but, I am leaning toward more ammo instead as I think that will be the focus of the anti's like it is in California. They have not gained much ground with going for guns and I think they see ammo as the new focus. I think it is the real reason that Obama had the EPA close the biggest lead mine in the country and why he had the ATF try and ban certain AR ammo. The rule of law is gone as established by king O with the silent help from so called conservatives who did nothing to stop him.

I will register my revolution at the ballot box and see what happens.

Do not believe what you hear from most of the MSM...they are HRC's propaganda juggernaut and will do/say anything to get her elected and infringe further on our 2A rights.

To paraphrase Benjamin Franklin...we must all hang together or surely we will hang separately!

I sadly work with people who care more about the current sports scores and Facebook than their own freedom. If they paid half of that attention to the attacks on our Constitution. We'd never had allowed these criminal clowns in elected office in the first place. I blame those types of Americans more than I do the actual tyrants. The people with their head in the sand are enablers, and therefore just as bad.THEY won't wake up till they need to stand in a bread line unfortunately...

Once you lose the right to own and bear arms you are only living under the graces of you rulers.
You had better hope they are benevolent.

I can not lose the right to bear arms because it's not a right granted by man.

As for the election. I'm on the Trump train but it is reluctantly. The only humor in the whole thing is the Democrats think they are getting a leftist friend when they are actually getting fascist fiend. She has proven her willingness to crucify her lieutenants, privates in her army do not have a shot.

I reluctantly will vote for the candidate who will preserve our constitutional rights. This beyond a doubt, the worst election year in the history of the US.
