Since I am a member on other forums, I like to pass along deals when I see them here. I certainly do spend most of my time here on this forum, and that's mainly why I always keep my eyes and ears open, and established resources elsewhere.
Good until 11-5-09 is what I read. Just passing it along.

What are the deals RR? Everything says "call for pricing"

Are their 9mm AR mags Colt/Metalform brand? :smoke23:

www.spikestactical.com has stripped lowers for $89 each right now. I love their products. They are 100% first rate quality. :bier:

Sorry....I was trying to avoid posting a link from the other forum here. I didn't realize the deal wouldn't come out with the vendor's link to the site. Here are the specifics I think.........................................................................................
Stripped upper receivers (5.56):
5.56 mm platform, Mil Spec 7075 T651 forged flat-top upper receiver, with M-4 feed-ramps.
1-10: $65.00 per unit and $10.00 S&H.
11-25: $60.00 per unit and $20.00 S&H
26+: $55.00 per unit and S&H to be billed with order (UPS rates)

308/AR10 magazines:
308 magazines (DPMS compatible) all have Tempered Steel casing, and a stainless steel anti tilt follower. These are a TRUE 20 ROUND magazine.
1-10: $35.00 per unit and $10.00 S&H.
11-25: $28.00 per unit and $25.00 S&H.
26+: $23.00 per unit and S&H to be billed with order (UPS rates)

Email [email protected] for an order form. Please make the subject line "Internet special".

RR, do you have an AR-10? (.308) if so, what upper did you buy? I am itching for a heavy-hitter in the AR style and want the .308

No AR-10 here. Maybe I wish.....entertained the thought once or twice, but I personally don't think a semi auto .308 would live up to my expectations for the cartridge and it's dedication. Armalite is a good company from what I can tell, and engineering at it's finest, and you can likely get into an AR-10 for near what some of the best AR-15s are going for nowadays.

I'm just a die hard bolt action guy when it comes to the "heavy hitters" because I can do so much more with them. I would actually rather have a 7.62x39 upper for my Bushmaster than a .308 dedicated rifle on the AR platform.

I recently plopped down a down payment on this rifle chambered in 6mm Norma BR. It's gonna be a woodchuck Armageddon. I love a straight shooter too. :bier:
