I\'ve owned four Taurus revolvers. Two were great. One was okay. The fourth was awful.
The okay one had its cylinder start binding after about a thousand rounds. A trip to the factory solved that and it\'s been good ever since.
They bad one wasn\'t square or true on the back face of the forcing cone and would bind against the cylinder if you went more than about 50 rounds without cleaning it. Also, it\'s double action trigger was rough as gravel while it\'s single action trigger would trip at about 1/2-lb. The trigger in either mode had about 3/16-inch of overtravel too.
For Taurus revolvers, the saving grace for the okay-but-not-great quality control that I\'ve experienced has been the guaranty. Have a problem? . . . send it back . . . for free . . . forever.
