Finally got my Ltc in the mail this morning!

My timeline was as follows:
2/22- took Ltc course
2/23- submitting all paperwork
2/26- did fingerprinting
3/23- called for an update
4/25- called my local representative because it was 60 days. Few hours later got a call back stating its been approved and will be in my mailbox in 7-10 days
5/2- Ltc in my mailbox

Excited to finally get it. Felt like forever.

Absolutely. It helped me. Who knows how long I'd have to be waiting till I were to actually get it.

Just over my 60 day mark. Called and went through the phone tree 2 times only to have it hang up on me both times. I sent an email to them and received a standardized response in return. I guess I will call my local representative and see if that does the trick.

After all the phone calls this morning, ironically it was in the mailbox this afternoon. �� 64 days from receiving paperwork to license in hand.

June 26th/took ltc class and proficiency test
June 27th/sent online application
July 1st/did my fingerprinting
July 2nd/finally showed my app timeline on dps site
July 3rd/only background shows to be pending and print pending....

My father and i put in our apps and paperwork like a few days apart, mine still shows background pending print oending. His still isnt showing any timeline yet, any ideas why mine would be so far along according to txdps and nothing for him?

Just waiting on print now. Luckily my NR Florida permit is valid through August.

It was 64 days from the time the state received all of my paperwork until I had my license in hand.

So 7/8/16 is said only print pending, today i recieve a lettor on the 9th dated july 4th saying my fingerprints werent recieved, do yall think this just arrived later than it shouldve before the site updated?

My brother renewed online last month - got his LTC in the mail two weeks later.

Maybe by saying "print pending" they mean that they are waiting on your prints. Are you sure it doesn't say "prints pending"?

It says fingerprints approved, license to carry: print pending

Just checked this morning 7/8/16 background is now complete, print pending. Hope it keeps going fast according to this if it's updated regularly.

7/13/16 this morning says license to carry: mailed :danceban: time to stalk mr mailman....my father's still not showing they even started his app....so wierd

My timeline....How much longer????

My timeline:

I had all of my paperwork and prints done before signing up for my LTC class.

July 09: I completed the class and qual
July 10: All required documents submitted to DPS

**Checked everyday and no status change**

July 27: My online status finally shows this (see picture)

How much longer do you guys think I have?

Only remaining items are the following:​

• Fingerprints : Under review
• Background Check : Under review
• License To Carry A Handgun: Print pending completion of application review

would like to get a texas ccw... but the 30 hr drive just to get there and (based on 400 miles to a tank of fuel) nine tanks of fuel. (1800 miles one way).
two days there,
one sleep,
do class, paperwork, (with luck the state can get it all done in one day).
one slack day then two home, and two at home to sleep.

does texas accept other states schooling? nevada has a 16 hr class, did that last week.
that way everything can get done online and via the usps.
