I checked out the Dog Leg Rail but decided it would not hold zero as good as the AK303 being attached to the flimsy dust cover. I bought it and mounted it but have not shot it yet. It feels great but we will see what it does with recoil. The AK303 comes in aluminum and steel. I went with the aluminum for less weight. I mounted the scope with a Burris P.E.P.R. My thinking is I can take the Nikon Coyote 4-12x40 off very easily and replace it with a reflex sight in nothing flat. Time will tell. Let us know what you decide and how it works out for you. Good luck!
