Well, actually my UN is Pete156, but I do like pickles.

I decided to come check y'all out after reading about the place over at Okshooters.com. Nice little place y'all have here.

Much more civilized than PDO in my opinion. The ratings trolls over there are driving me nuts and making things a pain. They're not rating me poorly because I don't post much, but I get tired of having reading a post and it not making since till I click "show offensive posts". Which aren't usually offensive or bad.

Yep, this is a pretty nice place.

There is so much belittling & mean spirited flaming on many other forums.
It dumbfounds me how some shooters will treat other shooters that way.
Especially since we are all basically on the same side of the fence opposite the anti~gunners.

Regardless, you can post here & your threads and comments will be appreciated.

People might disagree but, it sure won't get personal. Not for very long anyway. :biggrin2:

They have this guy here. His Screen name is Bud White, but his 'real' name is "THE EXECUTIONER". If you type something offensive or disrespectful, he'll get you. He has this magic machete that he keeps near his computer and before you even finish typing offensive stuff, he chops your mouse hand off at the elbow before you can even post it. My wife now calls me stumpy.

Pete, welcome from Alabama. CC is the most civilized forum I have found. And all kidding aside our moderators and administrator work very hard to make sure that it stays that way. Differences of opinion welcomed. Personal attacks not tolerated. That way we all know if we get too upset that we had better sit down and count to 10 or 100 or 1000 or whereever it take to get our blood pressured down to the point where we can produce a civil reply. I have only been on the forum for about 2 months and so far I have seen one person banned. The moderators intervened and instructed the individual to refrain from being inflamatory and personal. The next message he sent was more of the same and he was out of here. The moderators and administrator recognize that sometimes we may let out the clutch on our (mouth) typing before we put our brains in gear and will give fair warning to back off, but they will not continue to warn. I think the policy is great. You know exactly where you stand and that everybody else is in the same position.

That being said we have a wide range of opinion and topics, so jump right in and post away. Look forward to hearing from you.
