This report says that 3 women pursued an ICE officer while livestreaming the chase, all the way to his home, posted his address on-line, and made a point of contacting the neighbors to identify "la migra" in the neighborhood.

Three indicted, one remains in custody, one released on bail, one still at large. Possible penalty is up to 5 years imprisonment.

(for the uninitiated, "la migra" is an insulting slang term for officials of the US immigration service).

Deliberate doxxing of LE officers' home addresses and details ought to result in an extremely harsh penalty. It's dangerous. And I'm sure that's the whole point of the doxxers doing what they do: to deliberately create danger upon those people they are despising. At bare minimum, it's terroristic and placing the lives of such people at deadly risk, given how ugly and violent this stinky end of the pool as gotten. IMO, the statutes need to be written that way and dealt with that way.

In my experience over the years INS agents and Border Patrol officers could become quite annoyed when referred to as Las Migras. That was not a courteous thing to do. Cops in general being cops, there can be a lot of joking and teasing among themselves, but that seldom includes outsiders.

I have been wondering for the past few years, if the term "ICE" (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) had existed earlier would the agents have been called 'hielos'?

Best wishes for los agentes de el Servicio Inmigracion de los Estados Unidos, y las familias. Paz y saludos por todos. Por favor, perdon mi malo espanol.

I would be willing to bet that would never happen in LA where I live! (Lower Alabama) BTW, a close friend of mine here's Son is an ICE Agent. He transferred here from San Diego, he loves the support here from the community and local law enforcement for their mission! It WAS NOT like that in San Diego!

Not that hard for me, if any citizen of any work class are insulted by the name to which some refer them as, I drop that term. If the Border Patrol Officers are annoyed by that name I would call them Border Patrol Agents.

However if a citizen who chooses to be called something other than an American they will have to tell me the prefix they prefer be it Native, Mexican, etc, etc. If they demand I drop the American I will, but I will also not consider them an American citizen anymore.

In other words a citizen who demeans this Country and who has no loyalty to it, or its COTUS, is not a citizen in my mind, I owe them no such thought, respect or designation as such. Love it, accept it, leave it, or just be a legal visitor, are the only options they should have---in my opinion. We owe none who hate or disrespect America---anything.

Should any citizen have a problem with a Constitutional America there are legal means to try and change it, anything else is anarchy and should be met with violent resistance.
