Regularly shoot a Glock 32 and Sig 229 in .357 Sig.

Both superb guns!

I am looking for a thinner gun for certain occasions, and since a have a metric ton of ammo for the above, Does anyone know of a <1in wide .357 Sig?

Would love something like the Kahr PM40 but in .357. Is there a conversion for this gun?

Thanks for any help.

Yeah, a Kahr PM.357SIG would be great even though that little bugger would be snappy to shoot. :hand10:

AFAIK, there is no conversion for the PM/MK40.

Oh BTW, I am aware of the Sig P239.

It is my front runner at the moment.

Thinnest would probably be the Sig P239, since it's a single-stack.
Adios,
Pizza Bob
Sig lists the P239 at 1.2 inches wide.

Glock lists the G33 at 1.18 inches wide.

P239 holds 7+1 (.357 Sig), and the G33 holds 9+1 (.357 Sig)

I'll stick with my G33.

I'd say go with the p239 and swap the thick plastic factory grips for the sig or houge aluminum grips. They feel great and are a little thinner, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong).

Hmm, I though the Glocks were 1.5in wide... I'll stick with the G32 over the 239 then, unless I find a <1in option (al la Kahr).

S&W lists the M&P 357Sig and M&P Compact 357Sig at 1.2". Steyr M and S series 357Sig are listed at 1.18"

As much as I like Sigs and especially as much as I liked my P239 in 357Sig, I like my Steyr M357 better. That is saying a lot because I like pistols with hammers. The Steyr definitely feels thinner than the P239. The Steyr holds 12+1 and the P239 7+1.

Need any help with that "metric ton" of 357 ammo?

239 in .357sig was the first one I ever shot. FELL IN LOVE right away. I say go for that. I carry the 239, but in 9mm...I was worried about cost/availability of .357sig last spring. :(
