I can play out several scenarios in my head where this would be useful. If I had it to dish out, I'd buy one right now. I guess I'm just into novelty. It's a BUG to your BUG.

It doesn't make great fries. Gotta search for another option.

Seriously, though, I'd be hesitant to expect a single-shot .22LR (or single-shot anything) to be a viable part of a practical defensive strategy. But that's just me. I'd prefer to carry a real gun, knife, spray, kubotan. The standards, for such tools.

On my bucket list, still (and likely for awhile, yet): jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Suntzu? :hand60:

At an estate sale I once found boxes of Spy Tech stuff. Mini cameras, tiny tape recorders, etc. In one of the boxes I found some odd pen parts. I passed on them but called a friend that bought the whole lot. He called me a few days later and told me the pen parts were 25 cal pen guns! He collects cold war spy stuff, and said that these were US made. That was the only one I had ever seen. They are kind of neat for the novelty. DR

$500 for a zip gun is outrageous.

I would much rather have one of the Ballistic Knives with an effective range of 10 meters that was marketed in the mid 1980s. It was not cheap but still was a better value for a lot less moolah.

That's kind of cool. For almost $500, I would buy a nice hand gun. Maybe if they sold this for about $50, I'd consider buying one. Do they have one with a telescopic sight, attached bipod, camouflaged paint job ,bayonet and a 50 round mag? That might be worth what their asking. good luck to all

Might work if you were the victim of a hostage situation.

Ya and after that one rounds is gone that you may have missed with in a defensive senario. You can slash em up with the blade. $500 for a pen and only 500 a year made. I bet the waiting list is long. LOL
