It doesn't make sense does it?

Unless you look at it from the standpoint that they WANT to destablize America and collapse it from within...and then it makes perfect sense.

and yet...they get away with it because most people are too blind to see.

That was my thought as well. Let them run wild to break the country, then get there agenda thru...

Just found this. I am taken back by this, especially after last week...

Obama, Holder Push to Loosen Gun Sale Restrictions?for Legal Immigrants
That's an article from back in late December 2012. It's worth noting those comments haven't occurred anytime recently, after the heavy push for gun-grabbing legislation and the Boston Marathon crimes.

Still, it is an interesting dichotomy: pushing to restrict all citizens in every way, shape and form with respect to firearms ownership, acquisition and use, while relaxing restrictions on others.

I don't keep up,with politics a lot.I have been reading more and more.I swear it seems, some leaders, are trying to stir up some crap, that will cause more problems between people.I'm almost beginning to think, the snake in the grass,(in Washington) wants this.I hate to say it,but, sometimes, you aren't given a reason,to think, otherwise.

Actions speak louder than words. Destabilization and economic collapse are the only logical conclusion.

Ask yourself this, why would anyone want to disarm the citizens of this nation who protect the Constitution of these United States and arm the non-citizens who are not loyal to these United States?

Yeah, but don't forget, one does not have to be a citizen of this country to have the right to keep and bear arms....

And the Federal Government has said so since the Constitution was written...

That is FACT.

Yeah, I got tapatalk, too. So what?

What worries me is that when it comes time to vote on this, which most people are going to oppose, is that they will attach some other type of gun control to it, thinking that most people will support it if it stops aliens from buying guns

Interesting that the media didn't pick this up and run with it. I really don't understand this administration or President and I really don't want to either. Time for a new one!

Good news!

While it's unfortunate that they wish to demonize and infringe on the rights of those of us who are lawful citizens, I do appreciate this move.

In order to be a lawful permanent resident (LPR), a person must already have been granted some sort of immigrant visa, lived in the US for a year or two, filed paperwork, paid fees, had background checks performed and visited immigration centers before being issued a "green card". The 90-day proof of residency requirement was asanine.

During my time as a LPR, what sense did it make that I'd gone through all this but if I didn't show the FFL 3 months worth of water bills I couldn't buy the firearm I was otherwise legally entitled to purchase?

Now, whether or not people believe you have to be a full Citizen in order for the Constitution to apply to you is another debate, but I see this ruling as a great thing to the currently established law that the Constitution applies to all legal residents of the US, Citizens or otherwise.

the non-citizens who are not loyal to these United States?
Many (if not most) LPRs are only LPRs because you are required to wait for a period of 5+ years before you can get full Citizenship. Their loyalty to the US was already established when they came here to live as free people. The loyalty of a man is in his heart, not on some piece of paper.
