This is old news, July 2017.
That entity often reposts articles. In fact this one was taken from an original publication elsewhere as stated in the linked article.

Was this article posted here in the past?

I believe we discussed it then.

Funny, but nothing they did would be illegal here...except wearing the face masks. After decades of dealing with the KKK in the South they finally (1970s as I understand it) made wearing masks when over 13 years old and in public illegal.

Have to agree though, they're idiots.

At least one of them should've worn an Iron Man face mask.

Yes, the two were idiots.

"...but the rifle was not stored in a case, which is illegal without a concealed carry permit under Michigan law."

And so are Michigan laws.

I know this is old,but but I just now decided to actually read the article.
The rifle was unloaded and the trunk was locked, but the rifle was not stored in a case, which is illegal without a concealed carry permit under Michigan law.
Something smells here. This does not violate any MI law. A rifle needs to be unloaded and stored in the trunk or in a case, if in the passenger compartment. Not both.
Michigan Legislature - Section 750.227d
And MI CPL regulations only apply to pistols, not long guns.
