No batteries needed.
it will last for a long time, the median life if the glow capabilities are 15 years.

Now Glow-On has fluorescent and phosphorescent capabilities!
That's right:
it glows and it also reacts to existing daylight.

I'm thinking about trying your product on an older handgun I enjoy carrying. No one makes tritium sights for this model; so unless I spend a lot of time and money trying to adapt the gun for new sights, Glow-On is a reasonable option. Thank you for offering it!
I have two questions please:
One, I clean my guns in Dunk-it solution after every shooting session at the range. Will Glow-On resist solvents or will it need re-applied each time? I wouldn't soak the sights but can't promise they wouldn't get covered by the Dunk-it before wiping them off.
Two, it seems the "Original" is the brightest in the dark. Yet, which color do you think stands out the best in daylight too? Suggestions?

Hello and thanks for your message.
Glow-On is great especially for older models for which upgrades are hard
to impossible to find.
to answer your questions:
-Glow-On will resist most solvents.
-I would suggest Green or Yellow.
Glow-On can be applied over a flat surface as well. Make sure you load a
nice generous drop of paint onto the small stick and just transfer. it
will create a nice circular bead. It will flatten a bit after it dries.
it's important to let it dry for 3-4 days before you put it inside a
holster.

Adhesion and glow improve as the paint 'cures'.

A few 'transitions' to fully appreciate both 'day color' and 'glow color'.

Glow-On dries to a solid-state.
Other products dry like gummy bears...

If you have a small plastic rubber pad, the type used for hot glue work. You can make your own glowing dots, et them dry and the basically paste them over your gun.

TIP: We've added a new layer of the fluorescent material to our Glow-On original.
It adds visibility during the day as it reflects and disperses daylight from inside the Glow-On

We got where we are, by throwing sticks with a sharpened rock on one end...
From that point onwards, everything is an improvement.

From our inbox:
I used your product on two of my pistols with good success. Last week one of my
students showed me her pistol and I couldn’t see her sights. I suggested using glow
on, she agreed after looking at my gun. However, when we got to my house I learned
that I had used all of mine up. Where can I get more??? Do you retail it locally
here in Casper Wy? Or do I get it straight from you? I want the green and red.
Please let me know.\\RGDS

Happy to oblige.
Our goal is for every firearm owner in the US to have our product.
Thanks for the support.

BTW this is what happens when you can't see your gun sights.

Isn't it nice we have different colors?

I just sat down yesterday and did the sights on my new FNS. Used a small drill and pick to remove the factory white paint dots and then dipped/dripped/rubbed the glow on paint into the holes (rear sight holes are really tiny on the FNS sights). Let it sit a few minutes and "charged them up."

Looked great.

Thanks for the support.
If you need a few vials for you or your friends please let me know.
just PM me and I will send them free of charge.

Glow-On Adhesion is a slow setting.
