So I am thinking of getting my Virginia nonresident ccw, but was wondering if the nonresident license will still be good when I move back to Ohio... I know the regular Virginia resident ccw license will still be valid but not sure of the nonresident. Any help would be great.

Shouldn't be a problem for you. Since your getting a non-resident permit the only thing you should have to do is a change of address when you get back to Ohio.

It'll still be valid(I'd get the address changed),BUT, do you also have an OH permit?
I'd be careful if you're going to try to carry in OH, as an OH resident, on a VA permit. A lot of states(like WV) require you to have your home state permit to carry in that state.Non-residents can carry on any reciprocal permit.

FWIIW -- WV removed restriction on only honoring resident permits from the states they honor, this past July.

So someone with a valid non-resident can now carry in WVa. However, I believe (but haven't checked) your basic premise is correct about WVa residents not being allowed to carry on a non-resident permit.
