Im originally from Nebraska and had kind of decided I probably wouldnt go back there. It is a not(as much as I remember)a very gun friendly state.Well lo and behold I got a wedding invitation from my little sister ,hard to turn that down so Ill be going there in April.Has anyone heard of any ccw legislation going on there?I guess carrying illegally is out. Any suggestion?Im not paranoid its just that Im used to being able to exercise my 2nd amendment rights and to be able to defend myself.

Nebraska has a bill (LB454A) but it has been pulled from the agenda as of last week because it lacked the votes for cloture. So it could be a dead bill for this year. Even if it passes it will be blocked in the courts by the anti-rights crowd so no shall-issue for Nebraska for awhile. Looks like your only option is to strap on a big hog leg and stroll around. You'll likely get to meet some locals that way. You may even get to experience some of their hospitality and accomodations. i.e police and jail.

unfortunately, I think you just need to go unarmed for a bit...I wouldnt risk jail over it...just dont stay longer than you need to if it's that big of a concern
opencarry.org has incorrect CCW info for the State Of Connecticut! BEWARE!!
