After I trained with John Holschen, He kept a watch on me, I would post something on social media about training or theory;
I would get a message from John seeking clarification. Just to make sure I was staying on the right track, growing. If I was off or wrong He would go into great detail as to why, and give me examples.
I’m a nobody in His industry, John was always kind enough to check my understanding and help advance me.

We spoke just last week, I was able to tell him how much working with him helped me to understand what I needed to see and how better to process that in an engagement. It meant the world to me. ❤

Condolences to Matthew and all who knew him.

We've been losing too many lately.
There are a lot of industry guys that lived hard warrior lives around the same age. This is going to get harder and harder.

Condolences, sir. Glad you were able to share your considerate thoughts with him recently. As a mentor to many military officers it always hits home when I hear unsolicited appreciation for how things I’ve done helped them learn and develop, especially from those younger folks I truly respect. I’m sure your words did the same for him.
