Meanwhile.........

What would be wrong with the govt. selling off pistol parts to registered gun dealers and maybe have some of OUR HARD EARNED TAX MONEY go back into the general fund?

I suspect that buried deep within some new obscure bill that went through congress there was a provision to destroy gun parts so that civilians could not buy them. Usually (choose a name) would insure gun people would not enjoy any part of military extra stuff. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Scratchy

Actually, a few weeks ago there were some demilled Colt barrels listed that just had the very muzzle smashed & they probably could have still been used as good Commander Barrels.
They were not nearly smashed as bad as this particular batch.
I just didn't happen to need any more Commander barrels...since I bought a Fire Dragon match grade Commander barrel & fit bushing for about a third of what they retail for. What a NICE, tight fitting accurate barrel that turned out to be! I have in in one of my C. Commanders right now. :king:
