the Garand is VERY CLASSY as is the M! Carine.
So two longs and 2 shorts to choose from. I am quite fond of Beretta\'s as well. Hmmm

Put me down for the Beretta.

Personally I would go with the Garand first. The M1 Carbine is also good.

On the other two carbines. Do you have a Beratta or Ruger already, so that magazines could be used in both? I know the Ruger PC can be set up to take Glock mags.

I carry a G17 so I won\'t contribute my bias there.;)

Well went to the gun show only m1 garand i would have bought was 1300$ rest were junk ..

only m1 carbine they had was a od green yuck and funky stock ..

No 9mm storms

Only ruger carbine didnt have ghost rings so no go...

So i ended up with a G-17 with 3 17rd mags for 450 O.T.D.

Now for 3 or more 17rd normal cap mags and ill be happy ..

Hopefully next gun show will be better

Guess this means i finally Drank the coolaid ...

I\'d go for it in the order listed. You can\'t go wrong with a
M-1, either Garand or carbine. Garands are pretty pricey, though. BUT, you get what you pay for! The Beretta may be
a toy, but, what a cool toy! I don\'t really care for the Glock, that is the last choice though. Good luck whatever the final decision.

OR...Get the beretta for the close up work...

Welcome to the Darkside Tc300mag1

Enjoy your G17. I like mine. It has never failed me. Like Gerard said in U.S. Marshalls. \"Goes bang every time.\"

I bought mine used and it came with the orange training mags in addition to the 17 rd mags. Just an amusing aside.

I also have the 33rd stick. It is amusing.

Bud, there's a guy over on The High Road that's selling 3 CMP service grade Garand's for $800 each. All of the parts match, and the pics look good. Check out their trading post. Seller is EJohn IIRC. Other members there say he is a good guy to deal with.
