What tool do you use to clear jams?

What do you guys have in a range kit or pocket to clear a jam?

I was reading my LCP manual and it said to use a pointy wood dowel, not a metal blade that could (quote) "damage the cartridge or ignite the primer" (unquote).

The end of a chopstick. 'Works every time.

That would be bad :gah:
Never had a round lodged in the barrel *knocks on wood*
The wood dowel or a brass cleaning rod will not damage the barrels rifling unlike a steel rod that may scratch the barrel, pistol cartridges can usually be punched out pretty easily,But I had a friend that had a 223 jammed so tight in an AR15 I first tapped it hard enought to set the bullet back then flooded the barrel with wd40 to soak the powder just in case the primer got set off, after a coupla really hard whacks the cartridge came out.I really hate tapping on live rounds

I like that idea. Never had it happen, but now that we mention it, I will keep one in my kit.
Thank you for the input everybody.
