Because the truth does not support their agenda. Same reason everyone lies.

The moral high ground vs winning. That's a powerful incentive. Altogether too many (on all sides of issues) opt for the latter. In the end, that's what matters: winning the fruits of the labors. In this case, it's obtaining a subservient and obedient citizenry in utopia.

Because most people are too stupid or lazy to check facts. If they say it then it must be true - especially if enough of them say it enough times. Nobody ever claimed that sheep were very smart.

And since the mainstream media is in lockstep with the anit-gun lobby, no one will publish the true information where the general public might see it.

Charlie needs to have big headlines about the anti-gun agenda to keep the focus off of his income tax returns...liars and crooks, the bunch of them.

They are liars because we havent hung them for refusing to honor their oaths to the Constitution and we havent jailed them for perjury or falsifying documents.

OK, I will say it and be quiet. There are many liars on our side also. Two wrongs don't make a right, yada yada. I can find folks on our side that do the same thing...intentionally or by not checking their facts. Just like the anti's.

Really, it's the same reason that negative political ads that are proven factually incorrect are still effective. People hear something over and over and pretty soon they believe it. Politicians have far more to gain than lose by doing this, which is why politics has become so nasty and lacking substance over the past 10-15 years.

I think its a much more basic thing. A certain percentage of the population are liars, always have been, always will be. They are in every aspect of life. Prisons are full of folks who say they are innocent. You get the point.

Very true ,but we have one thing they do not.We have the proof of the history of the world that shows over and over that an armed society can fight tyranny.These examples of history are irrifutable

Rangel is just carrying on business the same as did Adam Clayton Powell.......I doubt that Rangel will live out his term and the next representative will be Hispanic/Dominican.

Liberals have to lie because their real agenda is to make us all answer to them. Health care, gun control, global warming, abortion, etc... You name it. It is all about growing government. Growing government is all about abrogating the rights of individuals.

So true, and the sad part is that we don't have to lie because the facts are actually on our side.

They have to be BLATANT liars because being a minimalist truth stretching little white liar doesn't move the needle.

Because they know if they say it enough and loud enough it will become a "truth"
