Looks like the Russian Navy is on site. US no where to be found. I understand we have no ships in the Black Sea. I guess only hope is it is too deep to recover. Not sure but it might be a good idea to put a self destruct charge on them in case they fall in enemy territory.

Allegedly, the vehicle was "wiped." What that exactly means is unknown on this end. Electronically "cleaned" I would suppose.

We used thermite grenades to "sterilize" any sensitive equipment left behind from a crashed helicopter. (They are very effective!) I'm sure they probably have something similar, remotely controlled for the drones.

So the drone went down about 75 miles from Crimea in the Black Sea. Maybe, what, 100 miles from recognized Russian territory?

What would we say if we downed a Russian spy drone 100 miles off the coast of Massachusetts?

There's a war going on over there. What do you expect?

Hopefully cooler heads prevail. It would be idiotic to escalate over a downed drone. But we have a lot of idiots that want a shooting war with Russia.

Russians are poking the bear - just like China did last month. Both have discovered what they expected, weakness.
Seems to me it's us poking the bear.

Probably some underwater munitions work took care of the drone.

Where the USA should get aggressive with Russia is the incidents involving manned flights in international airspace far from disputed borders. Splash a few of the Russian planes and they will holler but they will also stop.

International airspace, international waters, that'd be an international incident, a violation of international law. It wouldn't be pretty...

Brandon and co. screw up everything they touch, this is blatant as heck and in Putin’s face. We are in war with Russis, no other way to look at this - and it’s all for money in the politicians pockets - lots of folks getting billions off this war.
