I know what part of the country most of the active posters are from since I try to read every post. It is helpful, to me anyway, to know what city/state (or just state) when I read different perspectives and opinions. Hopefully it would be beneficial to everyone else as well. So, if you would all edit your settings in the User Control Panel (User CP), click on <Edit Profile> and then just enter your City, State (or just state if you would rather not disclose your city) I would appreciate it.

You just wanted to see how old everyone is didn't you? The forum software requires that you enter a birthdate. Probably why I didn't fill in the other stuff. It's done now.

Well, you don't need to put enter your YEAR Of Birth ~ ONLY the Month & the Day/Date.
I'm also surmising that concerning the question of "Which State?" answers like:
"State Of Confusion" ~ "State Of Shock" & "State Of Suspended Animation" would be totally unacceptable? :nono:
And Please...No chipping in & buying me that H&K P7 that I always wanted on my Birthday which would be this coming July 8th.

I'd noticed right off that there was no entry for "older than dirt"!

Birthdate? Sheesh, I can take that off. Not sure why it would default to that unless it was for the COPRA requirements (which is shut off). No wonder we don't have many women :1clogefah

Hi Bumper, maybe its me but I try to enter my state and clear the birthday I get an error mjessage. If I enter the windows messenger address for me I get an error message. No matter what I try and change I get an error message. Do you have to enter your password to change anything?? I don't. Yes I know I am just messed up today. LOL

I removed the requirement that you enter a valid birthday. It defaulted to requiring one during the install (I guess) because the COPPA registration system (Compliance with the COPPA laws requires children under the age of 13 to get parental consent before they can post. Probably doesn't apply here.
