...on day 31- postmarked yesterday. Now I'm gonna have to find a decent CC holster for my Ruger GP100, 4" SS or maybe get an SP101 or a semi-auto...

No doubt I will feel, and be, safer- and the added responsibility is commensurate with the privilege.

Kudos to the Lynden PD for handling me in such a professional and polite manner- I do believe they deserve recognition for this.

I actually had a CPL many years ago, got it from King County and their attitude was, well, I'd be banned if I put it in print here.

YIPPEE!

Congratulations. And now that you have a CPL, be sure to get some good training. I highly recommend the General Defensive Handgun course at Insights Training. I just took it a week ago and it was fantastic.

It's a bit of a drive for you, but the class is well worth it.

If I do get an auto-loader it will probably be either a Glock or Smith and Wesson M&P- I'm mainly a wheelgun type but I do want to keep a reasonably open mind.

I will certainly give it consideration. I could prob'ly stay at my brother's house overnight 'cause he lives pretty close to Issaquah.

And thanks again to y'all for the pats on the back.
