Important TIP;
Apply the product generously.

I use the term 'BEADS OF PAINT' rather than layers.
The thicker the application, the better the glow will be.

Glow-On has its own primer, it already has a special backstop material to capture'light within, so that it charges in a couple of seconds.

This is what Glow-On does...The rest is up to you.
Be safe.
Follow gun safety rules dogmatically and always remember knowledge is power.

Here are some versions:
---------------------------------------------------------
Jeff Cooper's Four Rules:[6]

All guns are always loaded.
Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.

--------------------------------------------------------
The National Rifle Association provides a similar set of rules:[7]

ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.

--------------------------------------------------------
Project Appleseed provides similar rules for their rifle marksmanship clinics:[8]

Always keep the muzzle in a safe direction.
Do not load until given the load command.
Keep your finger off the trigger until the sights are on the target.
Make sure those around you follow the safety rules.

----------------------------------------------------
The Canadian Firearms Program uses the concept of The Four Firearm ACTS:[9]

Assume every firearm is loaded.
Control the muzzle direction at all times.
Trigger finger off the trigger and out of trigger guard.
See that the firearm is unloaded.

------------------------------------------------------------------
The United States Marine Corps uses the following four weapons safety rules:

Treat every weapon as if it were loaded
Never point the weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot
Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you're ready to fire
Keep the weapon on safe until you intend to fire.

Glow-On is a gun sights enhancer.

Here is a sequence to show the big change our gunsights experienced:

I prefer bigger markings.
For tired eyes, bigger markings are best.

This is the adhesion test.
For this to work:

Clean the surface thoroughly with alcohol and paper towel.
Let it dry and cure for a few days.

If you happen to have a few firearms around, a couple of vials of Glow-On can do the job.
you can still have your red dots, lasers and such...Glow-On could be your fall back strategy, just in case.

Don’t waste your time. You have to activate it with a bright light anytime you want your sights to glow.

Don't discourage people from purchasing goods from forum sponsors. What's the matter with you? How do you think the bills get paid around this place? lol 😂🤣

In regards to the product in question, it does exactly as advertised. I plan to purchase a bottle just to paint the sights of my Bodyguard or LCP I'll be purchasing soon. A little contrast on those tiny bugger sights always helps. 🙂

Maybe a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway.

Is it unheard of for someone to use this over faded tritium sights? If the glow will last a while and if it's noticeably brighter than my faded Trijicons, would this be an option?

Or better yet, can this be used WITH the tritiums, like maybe a ring around them or something?

Personally, it wouldn't bother me a bit to have to shine a bright LED flashlight on them for a few seconds before carrying at night, as long as it lasts a while.

The theory of relativity.

I was explaining to my little boy the Theory of Relativity.

Time is relative:
Time is not the same for someone sitting inside the restroom, reading a 'Musicians Friend's catalog, than it is for someone waiting outside, trying to get in.

Even while we are sitting, reading our catalog, while someone is waiting outside…

Our planet is orbiting around the sun.
Our sun is orbiting inside a galaxy.
Our galaxy is moving across the Universe at an incredible speed.

It's amazing that we are not dizzy all the time.

Relative to other technologies Glow-On is more cost-effective:danceban:
This photo explains what I am talking about:

It took less than fifteen dollars to upgrade all these guns.
That is a lot of savings.
Glow-On saves you a lot of money.:king:

Now let's talk about custom colors...
8 colors and lots of possible combinations.:35:
Save money buying two vials or more.
