good question...i can tell you that particular mag holder works very well...i use it in idpa...ojk for concealement as it holds the mags tight to the body...i'm just not fond of vertical mags jabbing me in the side getting in and out of the car...

 

It looks like it has a generic double stack version. That may be better if you are trying to use it for something other than a glock. You might also try checking the actual 5.11 site; it may have a compatability list.

 

How about other mag carriers? Anything specific you guys use? I need one that attaches to a belt. I guess it doesn't really matter which kind; it just has to be cheap and carry two mags!

 

i just received one in the mail yesterday. It is a ankle mag holder that carries 2 mags. I haven't tried it yet, but I think im going to like the idea. This way, I can carry one mag and my Fenix PD3. Anyway, I will start carrying it this week and see how it goes.
