A couple of the easiest fixes would be that that particular hole is dirty or has a rough spot. One more unlikely is that the hole is smaller than specs and should be rebored.

+1. I usually use my Dremel and "High-gloss" polish my cylinders, when I get a revolver. The basic lapping compound on a bob is fine; of course, you can buy 600-1200 grit oxide compounds, if you really want slick.:wink:

 

As Rob mentioned in his above post. This is part of my normal F&B that I do to all my revo's before the first shot is fired. This, weather purchased new OR used. -------

 

I agree on the polishing of the cylinders. I doubt the revolver has a poorly dimensioned cut but you can have the cylinder resized. Brownell's sells a cylinder sizer http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=20659&title=CYLINDER+SIZER

But any gunsmith should be able to resize the cylinder. Going this route is obviously more expensive but would be precise.
