My biggest issue with the 5.11 and the Duluth pants is that neither one of them are cut to fit men. I have tried every cut/style they make and even go up in size to where the waist is obnoxiously big....I might as well be trying on spandex at Victoria's Secrets. I really wanted to like both of them, but they don't make a cut that fit.
DTC has recently come out with different fit sizes on the pants, so might want to give them another look.

I'm 6'1", 200lbs and in good shape. The standard fit flex fit and regular fire hose cargo pants are a bit on the baggy side for me in my waist size.

I wear 5.11s 90% of the time. I've tried cargo pocket carry - for about five minutes - and found it way too awkward for my tastes. I pocket carry my Sig P365 in a Vedder pocket holster in the right front "slash" pocket. It makes a lump, but not truly recognizable as a firearm, in my opinion. Very fast draw.

I'm 6', 250lb and powerlift. It was over Christmas when I spent nearly and hour trying to find the men's section LOL. I'm being really sarcastic of course. I really like their pants, but absolutely nothing fit. I came out of the dressing room with the standard fit on and my said I couldn't wear those outside of the bedroom. The regular wasn't much better. The search for me continues.

I wear a Carhartt B11 and am thrilled with the pocket space and durability.

Can easily fit a 442 smith or a Ruger LCP with no issues.

Yes, I know I'm resurrecting an old thread. I just wanted to say I have become a Duluth Trading Company fan. We have one of their retail stores 25 minutes away, so I can check out anything I want to try before buying.

I now wear their Firehose Flex cargo pants every day. And just recently started wearing their Buck Naked underwear. The cargo pants are tough, and the pockets are perfect for me. The underwear feels great, and my wife says I look much better in them than the white briefs I wore all my life. I'll take that win anytime!

I’m still hanging on to the cheaper Blue Mountain brand from TSC and Tru Specs from Amazon. I wore the Wranglers this year for working at Home Depot and they were good! They wore faster then the Tru Soexs or Proppers but I was working harder in them also. Concealed a G26 or G43 at work. J Frame outside of work.

I have used Wrangler Cargo Pants and shorts forever. Last year I bout some Duluth Cargo Shorts. Both work well for me. I have a Glock 26 in my Wrangler Cargos front pocket at this time. Normally it is a J-Frame
Wrangler was what I was wearing before I made the switch. They worked well for me, but they didn't last all that long. Of course, they are considerably cheaper than DTC.

I have both 5-11 and Duluth Cargo pants
5-11 Stryke in particular are more expense yet the pockets are laid out better for carry. The pockets lay flatter to body and are not as prominent in view. You can carry a P365 in Desantis with little notice on bulge in side pocket, or front pocket.
Duluth are less expensive, and do not tell people you are military or on the job if they are Firearm knowledgeable.
Pocketsare more baggy and “ bounce a Lititle”. More casual appearnce

Both have their place for me, if I am getting dirty working in yard, or on vehicle I wear my Duluth for sure.
