I REALLY like my little LCP and have had good luck with the JIT holsters. They are just no-frills, minimalist holsters and have worked very well for both my Makarov and S&W 642.

I saw that they made JITs for the Ruger LCP, so I bought one just for the heck of it. I guess I'm just working on my "drawer full of holsters".

Anyway, just wanted to say that it carries very well. In jeans and a hoodie, there was no hint that I was carrying the little gun.

I also want to add that for extremely light guns like the LCP or my 642, a normal, more flexible belt works extremely well with the rig vs my dedicated gun belt. There's no sag at all, and I really almost forget that the gun is there. My Makarov is heavy enough that it requires a decent gun belt. I carry these guns at about 3:30.

I have several Don Hume J.I.T. slides, lets see, one for the Glock 19/26, XD9sc, Kahr PM9/CW9, Ruger LCR .38 and one for the LCR .357 (which will also fit an SP101).

Here's one for you to try for the LCP: The Galco M5X paddle holster. I got one and took my dremel to the paddle part and made it smaller. This little thing slips right on and off (hard to take off because of the little grabbers which is good, it won't fall off), but it's light and you don't have to mess with a belt. You can even wear that little LCP with running pants. Just as long as they have a good snug fitting waste band. You don't want to bounce it off jogging.

I can see a really small gun like this being ok to carry on a regular belt. The weight of a full size gun isn't there so I would think a normal belt would still be sufficient for a gun of this size.

Glad you like the little gun so much! Congrats.

I use one daily with a PT145 and a Beltman. It's a few years old and has loosened up a fair bit. It has yielded to my side-belly's outward influence and the black finish is giving way to the brown finish underneath. Still useful but I won't get another one.
