The last several days, I have been frequently getting the following while browsing DC:

It never seems to last more than a few seconds, but it's happening quite often. I'm also seeing the same on a couple of other "FORA" sites. The message is very specific about "FORA", but I wonder if it really is a problem with FORA, or could be my computer, my browser, or my Internet provider(?).

Haven't seen that one yet.

Sometimes when you have a VPN turned on various Internet sites, do not want to connect. If this happens to me, I turn my VPN off and I have no problems. That being said, I have never had a problem with Defensive Carry.

Had that happen a couple of times. I cleared my cookies and haven't seen it since. Makes it a bit cumbersome to have to sign in manually the next time I visit. Small price to pay IMO.

I've seen that a time or two. I get the wheel of waiting more often.

For the past ~4 days or so, I've had it occur several times. But not on other sites. As the Admin suggested is likely, it has been temporary ... and within ~10 seconds a refresh of the screen then gets to the forum URL fine.

I've been getting this on a couple of sites. Doing a refresh brings up the site.

I got it also. I tried disabling AdBlockPlus and then my Malwarebytes browser guard. No joy. It flick to the regular log in screen and then to that stupid over screen which makes it totally impossible to log in. Can't refresh. Nada.

I am using my old computer that does not have the Malwarebytes browser guard.

IF Fora goes to not allowing ad blockers I'm done with all the forums. That would be sad but that is the way it is.

I hope. I am not overly thrilled about having to use this computer - especially after Oct 15th when The Great and All Powerful MS will not support W10 any longer. I have been assured by Malwarebytes that as long as they have my back I'm OK - but I bought a new W11 anyway. That led to a whole new bunch of frustrations which are too long to list.

...this part of old age is NO FUN. (Actually that category has a long list also.)
