I heard report that hamas still has refused to disarm which is one of the main terms with Israel.
This is going to blow up. IDF will be back into Gaza within a few weeks. Only way this conflict ends id the extermination with all the terror groups in Gaza.
Then something else will blow up in another country there. I like Trump but his peace for the first time in two thousand years is right up there with Bush's Mission Accomplished banner.

I'm sure the IDF has a kinetic solution for continued Hamas fighting.

It's not like the people of the area, besides the Jewish population, were ever a single people- only the establishment of Israel unified them into a group (mostly) and with the Israeli victory over the one group that unified the "Palestinian" peoples, Hamas, the clans will likely turn on each other to gain power. This whole nastiness is a powderkeg. Terrorism, support for terrorism, calls for militant uprising in societies (in 'protest' of course), antisemitism. I would bet it's going to get incredibly worse, before it has a prayer of improving. IMO, it certainly will if such fomenting of militancy continues, if societies remain on the path of allowing it.

Nothing easy there, how do identify a "terrorist" under international law?

One moment they hold an AK-47 or RPG, then in one moment he drops it, he's a "civilian"?

Reminds me of POTUS Bush jnr during the 2003 Iraq war, soldiers returning were arrested for carrying out the CIA directives detaining Al Qaeda operatives in military detention camps.

Absolutely nothing shocking here, why would you think that they would abide by the rules?

This is all expected, and if Bush touched it then whatever it was he screwed up and that was also expected and planned. The Bushes were nothing more than acting yanks - not even associated with Texas except his family moved there and then lied.

With these people, how can anyone trust them to do what's righteous?

IMO, trust is seldom a useful concept in political affairs or among groups of aggressive or emotional people. It's more useful to assess the interests which motivate their actions. Once the interests are understood it's sometimes possible to do things to affect or threaten those interests and in turn influence outcomes.
