I just want to say I'm in no way affiliated with this business in ANY way shape or form, im just a consumer looking to try something other then FrogLube.

Still liking the smell of my froggy stuff. Not sure how well that test demonstrates shows with products that are applied to hot metal and allowed to bond with it, building up a better shield over multiple applications.
Still, it looks very good in this comparison.

I've too much Froglube and Fireclean on hand to try this now. Looks like it would be worth trying. I wish he'd shown the labels of the products he tried in Part 2.

Curious why you want to look beyond FrogLube? As a new user of the product, I've found it to be pretty awesome. And, it works on a lot of other stuff around the house.

Interestingly, I just spent some time on their page. Looks like their whole marketing campaign is to reach those who wrongly think FL doesn't work in cold climates. Two pictures of the stuff on ice on their homepage and a small blurb about metal being porous and the lube working into the metal (sounds like FL copy to me).

What I don't see is compelling evidence (or any evidence) that it lubes better than FL, grease, or any other lube. Their website also says it is unlike anything on the market today. It is exactly like a LOT of products on the market today. And, I can't find any info on who owns it and who they are.

Once I heard about Mobil 1 synthetic, I stopped looking. LOL
I use new motor oil, Vaseline and occasionally Jojoba or grapeseed oil.
Depends on length of storage, short/long term.
Vaseline is great for long term because it doesn't gel, sticks to everything and comes off with alcohol.
