In case folks have forgotten why, Trump gas prices were artificially low for multiple reasons. Anyone remember the price war between the Saudis and Russia? Anyone remember the COVID lockdown? At one point the price was actually below zero. Those were both spring of 2020. Trump had no control over them.

Ford's biggest mistake was pardoning Nixon. It cost him his reelection. The smartest thing he ever did was pardon Nixon, even with its cost to him. It put Nixon's issues and the focus on him behind us. As is, he remains the only president never gaining the presidency through popular vote nor assassination. I really didn't have much problem with Ford.

 

Well, Gerald Ford was a talented football player--indeed one of the greats.

He took Michigan to national championships in the 30s (undefeated) and his fame allowed him to succeed in Michigan politics.

However, his public service accomplishments were not great and his fame came only from being selected by Nixon as his vice president (I've already touched on the reasons for that).

He is remembered for stumbling and falling down stairs and for the famous description "He played too many games without a helmet."

Otherwise he was fairly ordinary........a typical VP prospect.

 

Biden is the worst president in American history and it's not even close anymore.
He should be impeached and removed from office. He is not only unbelievably weak and corrupt but riddled with dementia. But there are two problems:
1) The Democrats are no longer honest brokers. They're bought and paid for by America's enemies. They're corrupt and criminal. The would never vote to impeach Biden and remove him. Their solidarity with the party is now complete. Aside from Manchin and occasionally Synema, the Senate Democrats never stray and the House Dems are like Stepford Wives in lockstep with the literally insane Nancy Pelosi.
2) And who would replace Biden anyway? Well, that would be Kamala Harris, the single worst vice president in American history, picked I believe as an insurance policy for Biden, who knew just enough to know nobody would want her to succeed him. She's an idiot. So Biden's safe for now.
