I searched the forums and found many threads that touch on various sights, but none specifically a head to head between these two.

From what I can tell, the Ameriglo Spartan Tactical is their competitor to the Trijicon HD. What are the main differences, if any? I believe the Ameriglo front sight is made by Trijicon.

For some, reading comprehension is helpful.

Since I assume you simply misread the OP, thank you for your clarification.

Well, you two have hit it off. :35:

Come on guys, have a laugh at each other, and let's be friends.

2nd, I have used a bunch of different sights: 10-8's, Novaks, TFO's, Trijicon's, Meps, some I've forgotten; the HD's are my favorite. I love a wide U notch rear, the front really jumps out at you, and draws your concentration, (I use the orange bioluminescent front, with tritium).

One thing about the HD's is the rear has razor sharp edges. It doesn't bother me because I form my Kydex AIWB's to protect me from contacting the rear sight, but some people have issues with them.

Don't know, I only appendix carry. My thoughts would be it would depend on how the slide guard is cut on the particular holster.

I haven't had this issue, but someone here, maybe it was Brock, was finding that the rear HD was putting holes in his shirts.

While it is sharp on the top rear face, I haven't had any issues with it at all. I want to say whoever was, filed their sights down/broke the edges with a stone.
